If you’re having trouble with the links on mobile, there is a post version of each of these tagged as such “characters post”, “ask hints post”, etc. Or you can use the tag “directory” which should lead you to all of them. I use tumblr almost exclusively on mobile and so the post versions might be updated more frequently than the actual tabs.
This blog will contain swearing and in the future, mild gore as well as some heavier topics. The swearing won’t be tagged, but everythin else will! (i.e. they’ll be tagged like “tw gore” “tw transphobia”)

Cerise @ Journey: "I wouldn't expect a big sigh like that on a day like this." The delcatty offers up a smile, sitting beside Journey. "Penny for your thoughts?"
“Ah, didn’t expect to get so much attention for that.” Journey says with a soft laugh.
The Furret flicks her long tail across the sand, tipping her head back and forth as she tries to find the right words for this conversation. This is something that she hasn’t talked about much to anyone- aside from her brother, Odyssey. Not the crushes part, of course, Journey loves to gossip as much as the next ‘mon. But the part where Adrienne is involved.
At last she decides to start with, “Well, it’s still a nice day out, even if I’m spending part of it stuck in my own head. It’s just…sort of different, to be here like this with Addy and to know I’ve lost my chance to tell her about my feelings. I’m sure I’ll get over this crush eventually and our friendship will go back to being uncomplicated. And maybe getting to see her so happy will help speed that up.”
Unbeknownst to Journey, her little confession is overheard by more than just the Delcatty. Finn and Keahi had grabbed some of the extra treats they’d received and headed over to share them with the others…only to hear part of what Journey had admitted to.
“….!”
Both of them stop in their tracks, jaws hanging open with the sort of scandalized embarrassment that only teenagers can effortlessly convey. While Keahi mostly just seems like she didn’t expect to hear this, Finn’s expression carried an undertone of indignation. Maybe if the two of them were a bit quicker to read a room, they’d leave this conversation be and just gossip amongst themselves later. Unfortunately for Journey, that is neither Finn nor Keahi’s strong suit.
“You have a crush on MY SISTER?!?!” Finn says with an overdramatic stomp of his front feet.
Journey spun around and raised her paws in exasperation, “No, nu uh!! Finn, quiet voices!!”
“Why does this keep happening?” The Boltund whined, although he did the bare minimum of lowering his voice, “First she gets a boyfriend and now YOU like her. This is weird!”
“Hey, don’t be mean about it. Adrienne deserves to have-”
“That’s not what I’m bothered about!! I just think it’s weird to know people LIKE my sister!! I’m allowed to think that’s GROSS.”
Journey appears to be fighting off a smile as she chastises, “Finn, you’re not a baby anymore. Cooties aren’t real and your sister can date people just like you have.”
“DON’T make fun of MEEE!”
“I had a crush on Addy too when I first met her.” Keahi decides to add, unhelpfully, as the two bicker, “I got over it though.”
“Not you too! Betrayed by my own best friend, AUGH!”
As Finn and Keahi descend into their own round of playful bickering, Journey turns back to the Delcatty beside her with an apologetic smile. She pats Cerise on the shoulder in a friendly manner before speaking.
“Thank you for taking the time to listen to a lovesick stranger, heh. I should probably break up their argument and swear them to secrecy on this subject…but it was nice to have a moment to talk about it. Here’s to hoping we both have a nice day from here on out, and it was nice to meet you.”

“Exactly!” Eloci said, clapping her paws together. “I think most anyone could use a good swim, once they learn how. Er, maybe in a suit for the more sensitive types. But me? I just love the feel of water!”
Hey y'all! I’ve been kinda quiet here towards the end of the event and figured I’d give a bit of an explanation, as well as plans for the future! Part of this will be under readmore bc it’s probs gonna be a tiny bit long
Firstly, if I don’t have the spoons to get more art done before the end of the month, I’m planning on doing written responses for the rest of my asks + interactions I wanted to do! The ideas I had would work better drawn but 😭 getting them done however I can it will have to be lol. I’ve got story posts queued for both here & questingfever that will last me through mid-September, which gives me time to rest before hopping back into doing full art posts

“Honestly, deciding to travel with Addy & the kids has not been great for said crush. That’s probably a big reason for the whole ‘lovesick’ thing. But, hey, Addy was my friend before she was my crush. As long as I can make sure she gets to keep smiling like that with her boyfriend, then it’s all worth it.”
